The group of carnival Vagabundos do Jegue
The Vagabundos do Jegue originate from the extinct Brass Band (Charanga) “UNIDOS DO REGIONAL TOCADO Á ALCOOL - URTA”, champion of catwalk carnival titles, category ORGANIZED BLOCKS, in the 70/80s ”.
It was created in the light of a phrase uttered by the President of the Country, at the time, João Batista Figueiredo, when he said that "he liked the smell of his horses more than of people". Then, the composer Wellington Reis - creator of URTA - already tired of the exhaustive competitions, gathered some friends with whom he already anticipated the street carnival, leaving in the formation "ragged carnival blocks ", and, presents them on lean Friday of the 1983 carnival, the suggestion of forming a joke that, according to the former President's phrase, could pay homage to the sagacity, manliness and honesty of certain Brazilian politicians. As a fantasy, and, outrageous to the rigor, they would come dressed in character: Full suit and / or jacket. They would have as a leader/mascot a donkey, called FIFÍ – but Figueiredo gave up. The idea approved, they marked the first departure for the next Saturday, Carnival Eve.

How the award-winning MUSIC ALBUM came about
Invited to compose the soundtrack of the theatrical show Viva El Rei Dom Sebastião, by the theatrologist Tácito Borralho, at the first meeting, I met Zé Ignácio. At the time, we were part of the team of the Culture Department of the State of Maranhão. Me, as coordinator of Cultural Action and Dissemination and he as Chief of Staff. [...] Zé and I, sitting on the same bench, started to exchange figurines. In just over two hours, I already knew that he liked to cook, invent dishes, played the guitar, the keyboard and, on known occasions, risked musical compositions. Of course, I talked about my projects and learned that my friend, a composer stuntman, had a similar intention. The show takes place and, a few moons later, in the late afternoon, my new and great partner enters my work room and throws a sheet of paper on my table, saying: "Here ... is this what you want?" It was a letter with the title Mocotó. For those who had never prepared this delicacy it was to read the poem, go to the kitchen and go out into the embrace.
No. In fact, one thing was missing: music. I said, "It is and it isn't!" In that sublime moment, I spoke of our rhythms - which he knows so well - of the possibility of composing each dish in a musical genre, etc. The next day, at the same time, Cuxá's lyrics were in my hands and, I swear, magically the melody came to my head.

ROSARIAR* – More than a promise. A life lesson.
Here I am, justifying the commitment made to my Blessed Mother by my daughter's parmanence here on earth.
Due to a deviation in my daughter's health, her body hosted a serious and complicated disease, still under study in the world, which “prostated” her for a long time, between life and death, in a bed hospital.
On one of the nights of Tuesday, February 2011, on the occasion of the Rosary of Men, I met with my singing friends and at the height of my sadness, I promised them to promise to compose and to record an album with songs of a religious nature, regardless of what happened to my Taísa.
She lives. Therefore, Rosariar, above all, is a promise of life. He validates my thanks to the Lord Jesus musically, with the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, for the grace achieved.
*Common noun, rosary (prayer necklace), here innovated and conjugated as a verb in the first person of the sigular.
